Like the a6300, "Lock-on AF" area mode is greyed out when shooting video, and as such, there is no way in video mode to select a subject to track using the touchscreen that we could find. To use tracking in video mode you must assign a button to toggle "Center Lock-on AF". I chose the center button in the back clickwheel to do this. Shooting video this way is pretty annoying as you must wait until your subject is dead center to begin tracking. It took me multiple attempts shooting pole bending before I got a successful clip in which the camera stuck to the subject the whole time. ----------------------- DPReview.com is the world's biggest digital camera review website.
